Summary: ALTIZER, Don Davis, 85, of 3532 Riner Road, Riner, died Saturday, June 12, 1999, in Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was a well known Montgomery County farmer, milk hauler and horseman. He was the son of the late George Wesley and Virgie Altizer. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Virginia Lucas Altizer; son and daughter-in-law, Freddie and Phama Altizer; son, Paul Altizer; and grandchildren, Josh Altizer and Tara Altizer, all of Riner. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 14, at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel, Christiansburg, with Mr. C. E. Mannon officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Riner Fire Department or your favorite church or charity. Friends may call anytime afternoon Sunday at the Richardson-Horne funeral Home, Christiansburg, where the family will receive friends from 7 until 9 Sunday evening.
